“In My Bed” is an epic folk track of sorts, packed with energy that spins around dark subject matter and orchestrated chaos. It feels like a train going off the rails, driving through melodies without regard and just a touch of panic near the end. I like this song a lot, people. It grabs gypsy folk, drags it into a studio, and matches it up with impressive production – in the end there is this fantastic stomping anthem.
This song is from The Mariner’s Children’s Sycamore EP, with a full length slated for later this year – we of course hope it to be as impressive as this track. Stomp on, folks.
